The SearcherNet system, which is designed to work with virtually any title production software, electronically delivers orders to your abstractor network. SearcherNet has been coupled with AIM® for Windows® to help perform title search tasks electronically, improving productivity and speeding the search process.
The system has two components – SearcherNet Title Office and SearcherNet Client. Using SearcherNet Client, SearcherNet Title Office electronically delivers orders to your abstractor network, allowing a title office to request a search from its list of abstractors and load the work product back into its title and closing software.
Any title office that conducts manual courthouse searches – or any searcher and abstractor – can benefit from SearcherNet's order and vendor management, document assembly and electronic order delivery. SearcherNet's Title Office component runs on Windows® 95 or higher.
SearcherNet Features:
- Connects into the office's title and closing software database – currently AIM for Windows
- Extracts the necessary order information
- Creates an order file, which is automatically e-mailed to the searcher
- Contains a module that tracks when searches have been ordered, with whom the order was placed and when the order is due
